The Sages of Israel

In the ‘The Daily Sage’, we have collected more than a thousand of the sages of Israel from recent generations. We have arranged the first names of the sages of Israel  in alphabetical order. We have added their date of birth and death next to each sage’s name. For sages whose date of death is unknown, we have set them on the 7th of Adar, the day of the death of our rabbi and prophet, Moses, whose burial place is unknown. 
If you know the name of a sage in your family, city or country of your birth, or if you knew a sage in your place of residence or heard of him from somewhere else, and we have been privileged to write some of the sage’s praise and collect some of his Torah sayings, you will find him on this list.
